Terms of Service

1. What LaunchQuest is

LaunchQuestis a web application that helps indie game developers discover YouTube creators relevant to their games. It is available with both free and paid accounts. Some features — including access to creator contact emails sourced from creators' public channel descriptions — are reserved for paid subscribers.

2. Accounts & eligibility

To use most features you must create an account using an email address and password or by signing in with Google. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Maintain a single account, unless we agree otherwise in writing

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use LaunchQuest. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

LaunchQuest offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, until cancelled.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Prices are shown exclusive of any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout

Refunds: Customers may request a full refund within 14 days of their initial purchase by emailing hello@launchquest.app. This 14-day refund applies to a customer's first subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LaunchQuest to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute our data — including creator contact data — without permission
• Use creator contact information for spam, unlawful, deceptive, or bulk automated outreach
• Contact creators in violation of applicable anti-spam and data protection laws (such as the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, or CAN-SPAM)

Creator contact details are provided to help you make relevant, good-faith outreach. You are solely responsible for how you use them and for honouring any opt-out or do-not-contact request you receive.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on LaunchQuest — including the tag-matching system, ranking logic, and UI — is the exclusive property of LaunchQuest. While individual data points are aggregated from third-party public sources, our compilation, organisation, and enrichment of that data are protected as our database. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without explicit written permission.

6. Disclaimers

LaunchQuest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Creator data — including contact emails and social links — is sourced from third-party public sources (such as YouTube channel descriptions) and may be inaccurate or out of date. We do not guarantee any particular marketing outcome from your outreach.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchQuest and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including any reliance on creator data or marketing outcomes.

8. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue LaunchQuestat any time. We may also update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify account holders of material changes by email where possible.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
