Top YouTube Creators for Marketing Your Cozy Game
A curated list of YouTube channels actively covering Cozy games, for indie developers planning launch outreach.
Cozy game coverage has exploded on YouTube since Stardew Valley, with a tight group of specialist channels covering farming sims, life sims, and low-stakes exploration games. Audiences here skew female and older than gaming channels average, and they're extremely loyal to creators they trust.
Cozy is the most coherent community on YouTube of any genre tag. The creators and audiences have a shared aesthetic and emotional register that they protect. For pitching, two things follow from that: your game has to actually be cozy, not just slow or casual, and the creators in this space are exceptional tastemakers. If the right one covers your game, word spreads across the community quickly. Pitch with screenshots that feel like the games their audiences already love. Creators here make decisions partly on vibe, and a single off-putting UI screenshot can sink a pitch from a game that would otherwise be perfect.

What makes a Cozy game work on YouTube?
Cozy creators are protective of their audiences. They won't cover games with sudden difficulty spikes, punishing mechanics, or tonal shifts into grimness. Lead with what makes your game genuinely relaxing, and be specific about it.
